2 Doubts and Dr Roman Saini Videos-Views and Remarks Please

Postby Gopalakrishnan N » February 23rd, 2016, 10:20 am

Very Good Morning Sir
My preparations are going well and I Do have a good hope i will crack prelim 2016.
Sir two thing hindering my mind
1. My age is 27, is it a late start to become an IPS officer?
2. Few say that "people who are aged above 28 have less scope during the interview to be selected". Is it really true sir?

I do confident that my work will be rewarded beyond all hindrance still I need your view sir.

I also pasted a link about Dr. Roman Saini's Videos about civil service exam preparations. Please give your remarks sir.

Dear Gopal.

27 years is the ideal age as you are well experienced to understand the
nature of the service. you will get a long 33 years of public service.
There is no truth in the opinion that people below 28 years are favored
in the selection process.

LIFE IS A JOURNEY, NOT A DESTINATION

Dear Gopal,

You don't need a separate preparation for Tamil. If you read newspapers regularly
that should suffice.
But if you are not at all good in tamil, then you may just go through the tamil
syllabus from grade-I to grade 10 CBSE BOOK and familiarize withe the question
pattern.
But as a first step, read tamil newspaper. That will help you to update the current
events too.

DO MORE WITH LESS

Good Morning Sir
Sure I will start reading Tamil newspapers, still now I give more importance only to "the hindu" newspaper.

I try my best to complete the maximum of preliminary syllabus within the end of April and start with my test series from may. In Mains optional , my graduation is in Computer Science so previous year I applied for M.A.Political Science so I think I can opt it as my option in mains. Do you prefer any other optional subject which may be comfortable for a fresh start and complete the maximum of the subject within a minimum time comparing Political Science and public administration?. Hardly we have 160 days for prelims and some 250 days for mains Sir.
( I am a Commerce with computer science student during my Higher Secondary Education, UG and PG graduation is in Computer Science).

Mr Gautham Pandian from Madurai is also in a close touch with me sir. We prefer to make a joint effort in clearing our exams. Try our best to stand before you for Interview Guidance within a year or two

"Each day is a new day" Have a wonderful day Sir
Jai Hind

Thank You Sir
Your's Faithfully

Dear Goplal,

The subjects like geography, Pol science Public admn have not fared
well in 2016 main examinations.
Therefore go in for a subject that you are passionate about so that
you can enjoy the learning, and it would be possible to cover a vast
syllabus.
I suggest you go in for commerce that you are familiar with. Another
subject that can master in short time is Psychology.

MASTER THE MANEUVER , YOU WILL REACH THE DESTINATION.

I try to complete my prelim syllabus with adequate revisions before April last week and I will start my regular test series from May First Week. I am gifted with 45 days vacation holidays during May and June. I believe it will be helpful for me.

Me and Mr Gautham Pandian are in phone contact sir and share our preparations. During my vacation days or before it we like to meet you sir. Hope we can meet you with prior appointment through phone.

Thank You !!!!! Have a superb day Sir

Your idea of utilizing the 45 days holiday is the best strategy to gain
as much knowledge as possible within a short time without much stress.

My office landline number is 28447747. Please get in touch with my secretary
Srinivasan and come along.

LAUGH AT THE STORM
