Respected Sir,

I am abhinav working in a PSU bank as Deputy Manager, sir i am facing a dilemma need ur guidance.

Sir, i am 28 years old, have only 2 attempts left for IAS. I have cleared prelims once.

Sir the problem is i am posted in Rural Branch, so a lot of problems had in my job life, language problem, no prospects for preparing for IAS. Sir, i am making my mind to quit it, and give my last 2 attempts.

Will this be a decision worthy? Sir, i am not able to justify both, neither my job nor my preparations.

Please sir, facing a lot of trouble. Please guide me, show me the path.

INDEED THIS DIELMMA HAUNTED ME TOO IN 1996. BUT I STAYED IN THE
BANK, THE IOB AND WRITE THE EXAM, AND PASSED TOO.

BANKING JOB IS A GOOD JOB, BUT OFCOURSE YOUR AMBITION IS IAS.
HERE, YOU CAN ALWAYS SEEK LEAVE DURING CRITICAL TIMES LIKE THE
MAIN EXAM AND THE PRELIMS.

CANT YOU STUDY 10 HOURS ANND ALL OF THE HOLIDAYS EVEN AS YOU
WORK IN THE BANK?
WELL, IF YOU FEEL IT TAXING, QUIT THE BANK AND GO IN FOR THE IAS
PREPARARTION.
