Clarification in Joining academy.

Dear sir
I am very much depressed and to say that i lose one paper in my eighth semester.I had applied for the revaluation but the result came as no change i was a deadly situation.This was the first obstacle in my life.I was feeling very bad sir.After Five days only got relief.I can only write the subject on Nov/Dec 2013 until that i cant join an academy.I don't know whether i can write the CSAT in 2014.My question is that Having arrears in the degree will consider in upsc exams?All the academy are asking the provisional certificate .but it will not be issued to me in this year after completing that subject only i can get it from University.If u don't mind please refer any academy for my coaching to become an IAS officer.i won't ever give up Please sir.Whatever Comes in life i will face too become an IAS officer. But this I don't understand-you should have known about your work and
that what you had written will not be good enough for a pass.
Why are you depressed when you knew pretty well
that you will not pass?

Thank you for your regards.As you said i should not get depressed.Sure i will get through the paper in the next semester.But i have wait till DEC 2013 for my next semester exam until that what can do whether to join an academy and prepare for CSAT?. or to focus on that subject.Totally confused.What shall i do?
I thought of preparing both at the same time.But that Paper also some what mathematical oriented so want to put lot of effort.
Hereby i will abide your guidelines so please tell what can do in this period?

You better study your engineering papers now and clear them by the end
of the year. You can start the IAS preparation next year.
you are very young . you have enough time to prepare and to appear
for the ICS.

Another one doubt.One arrears in UG will not affect the ICS exams know.If so what can i do in further for that,?Please reply me sir .

If you have one arrear, then you have no qualification to write the
prelim. examination. You can apply as soon as you have written the
exam, even before the result.
Therefore , you have to first clear your subjects and then think of the
ICS exam.

I am very happy to say you that Our university made a corrigendum stating that the result published.And by here i got through that subject which was said to failed.Now am out of that problem.i Am ready to join an Academy sir kindly say the best academy and i ill join that.Expecting an early reply. sir
