Sir,
It would be good to have a book, focusing on what are the traps which make the IPS, IAS and IRS Officers corrupt. Retd. IPS Officer Yogesh P. Singh talks about these things and he has also directed some movie. All the trainee IPS Officers as well as aspirants need to be told about these issues, as Mr. Y.P. Singh once mentioned that he knew the traps, and hence he came out clean. All new recruits are honest, but the system tends to make them corrupt.
And the trend of UPSC Civil Services exam has changed, so, it would be better to have a 2nd edition of "You too can become an IPS Officer."
And there's a question too, Sir:
Durga Shakti Nagpal, IAS acted very bravely, before her suspension. But after getting suspension, she avoided the media. Instead of showing same courage and conducting a press conference, she reportedly apologized to the CM. Still she got huge public support. It would have been great, if she would have shown the same courage, against the UP Govt., which misused the powers to suspend and demoralize honest and brave IAS Officer. Sir, what is your opinion regarding this, as any brave officer is likely to be in such situation.
Best Regards,
