hello sir

It's been a long time but i hope you might help me out. The reason why i started my preparations for UPSC was because of my dream to get into the IPS only but i m not eligible for it ... although i m eligible for IAS but i don't get motivated to become one and this is causing a major hindrance and acts as a setback in my preparation ( maybe because i have no idea about the kind of role that an IAS plays or his job profile and what makes an IAS so important apart from the multifaceted role that he/she plays in formulating policies, which doesn't motivate me to that extent as becoming an IPS motivated me...) so i kindly request you to help me out with this so that i can start preparing for my prelims - 17 positively with a desire to qualify it with the same zest and zeal that i had when i had my goal as an IPS .

i hope you will reply at the earliest. i shall be highly obliged.

thanking you

IAS is the premier service of the Indian union, it has the charm of being the
top most bureaucracy of the country. The cabinet secretary, the secretaries
of government in various departments including the home department is
an IAS officer.

IAS is always more among equal, and has an edge over any other service.
you will never regret being a collector of the district the most charming position
in the government service,
don't wait, start your preparation.

KEEP MOVING

Hello sir
I hope you’re doing well. So what I wanted to ask you was that is the Indian administrative services worth the efforts and time…considering that we get to hear instances where public servants have been questioned on their integrity and honesty. Often leading to situational transfers etc. (like recent one in mandsaur MP or the suspension of an IAS officer in UP over kasganj riots or The assault of the Chief secretary in Delhi )….
When people utilize so much of their resources and time in order to get into the services , is it really worth it in the end ???
